The snow gently fell as the sweet sounds of White Christmas could be heard from the small radio on the front counter. Cordy hummed along to the radio as she decorated the tree that stood in the lobby of the Hyperion. Angel smiled softly at the image from his position on the couch. He moved to stand behind her and gently took a delicate ornament from her hands before returning it to the box. She turned to look at him, a question in her hazel eyes, but before she could utter a word, he tenderly pressed his lips to hers.

"I love you," he whispered, kissing her left hand, where a brand-new wedding band adorned the third finger.

She touched his matching one. "And I love you."

The rest of the afternoon was spent in easy companionship, decorating the tree, laughing and enjoying the simple joys of their first Christmas together.
